Connect an AI Assistant

Point an AI client like ChatGPT or Claude at your PlasmaCost MCP server. The assistant acts on your behalf using your own account — it can only do what you can do.

Connect ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT and go to Settings (your profile menu).
  2. 2Enable Developer mode if you haven't already — ChatGPT will warn you about the risks; confirm to proceed.
  3. 3Click "Create app" (or "Create custom app").
  4. 4Name your app (e.g. "PlasmaCost") and paste the MCP server URL below.
  5. 5Click "Create" to save the app.
  6. 6In the chat composer, enable the app you just created before prompting it.
  7. 7ChatGPT will open your app's consent page — sign in with your PlasmaCost account and click Approve.

Each client opens your app's consent page on first connect. Sign in with your PlasmaCost account and click Approve — the assistant only ever acts as you.

AI assistants cache the tool list. If we add new features, refresh or reconnect the connector so it picks up the latest tools.
